The goal of the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting - Instructor Led Training (ILT) is to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA-affiliation. By participating in this class you will receive quality firearms safety instruction from beginning to end. This training is conducted in two parts, a 4-hour classroom portion followed by a live fire exercise at a shooting range. This course meets the training requirements to apply for the Colorado CCW permit.
