Our classes set the standard for concealed carry training in Colorado. Enrollment is limited to those with proven firearm experience—you must have completed a basic pistol class, taken an initial concealed carry course with live-fire training, and currently hold a Colorado CHP. Only students with functional knowledge of firearm safety and shooting fundamentals through training or experience should register. This is a rigorous, reality-based curriculum designed to develop skills you won’t find anywhere else.

Our comprehensive curriculum exceeds the requirements for Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP) renewal. CCW Colorado classes are recognized for their depth and practical focus—delivering real-world defensive skills that most instructors can’t or won’t teach.

Through this course, you will acquire the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to avoid dangerous situations and confidently fulfill your responsibilities as a concealed carrier. This is not just training—it's preparation for the realities you may face, taught by an instructor with real-world expertise.

This course includes:

· Firearm Safety Review

· Fundamentals of Pistol Use

· Self-Defense Law

· Federal and State Firearms Laws

· Situational Awareness & Defender Mindset

· Responding to an Attack and Managing Aftermath

Day 1 features focused classroom learning and hands-on dry-fire practice. Plan for 3-4 hours of intensive instruction. A strong belt is required for holster retention. Classes are limited to 8 participants to ensure personalized attention and maximum skill development.

Required Classroom Equipment:

· Personal unloaded pistol

· At least 2 unloaded magazines

· Personal kydex concealment holster (leather/nylon holsters not allowed)

On Day 2, you’ll participate in a live-fire qualification as required by Colorado law. CCW Colorado provides expert guidance through advanced shooting drills, ensuring you are fully prepared to defend yourself and your loved ones.

​

This live-fire session runs 3-4 hours at an outdoor range. Dress appropriately for the weather and bring water, snacks, a hat, high-neck shirt, sturdy belt, and closed-toe footwear.

Bring the Following for Live-Fire:

· Safety glasses

· Electronic hearing protection

· Personal unloaded firearms

· Minimum of 2 unloaded magazines

· Personal kydex concealment holster (leather/nylon holsters not allowed)

· At least 300 rounds of factory-loaded range ammunition (400-500 rounds recommended)
