The goal of the Basics Pistol Safety course is to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely and efficiently. It is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. By participating in this class you will receive COMPREHENSIVE, quality firearms safety instruction from beginning to end.

This is a shooting course, so we will conduct dry fire practice in the morning in class and then head to the range for LIVE FIRE training. Participants to bring their personal, unloaded firearms (if they currently own one) and a minimum of 2 unloaded magazines  to the class room. If you do not own a firearm at this point one can be borrowed from the instructor.

This course meets the training requirements to apply for the Colorado CCW permit. Further instruction is highly recommended.
