The goal of the Basics Pistol Safety course is to teach students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely and efficiently. It is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. By participating in this class you will receive quality firearms safety instruction from beginning to end.

This is a non-shooting course, but dry fire practice will be performed. Participants to bring their personal, unloaded firearms and a minimum of 2 unloaded magazines if they currently own one. If you do not own a firearm at this point one can be borrowed from the instructor.

This course meets the training requirements to apply for the Colorado CCW permit. Further instruction is highly recommended.
